Waterhawk, I received my athame on fri. I have been able to look at it for 3 days. It is extremely beautiful. It fits my hand perfectly, like it was custom made for me. I could not be more pleased. The connection I have been looking for. Several people have made the comment that you should not buy your ceremonial piece without handling it first. I have to say "wrong". You are an artist. I purchased a chalice from the talent of water-hawk creations. They were very prompt in responding and I received my chalice safely in only a couple days. The chalice is so beautiful. The artistry and craftsmanship is truly amazing. The picture didn't give justice to the detail put into the piece. Don custom made my chalice with no more than a few bits of info about me and my photo, and when he sent it to me, I was astounded by not only its sheer beauty and artistry, but by the fact that Don had somehow captured the essence of who I was in the chalice. Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters... My name's Mark, I'm a Wiccan Priest, and I recently bought an ostrich-shell rattle, the spiral-design one, from Don and Daniella...It's beautiful, appears quite sturdy and durable I'd thought it would be fragile), and sounds wonderful. If you're doing shamanic-type healing work, it's the perfect tool for the job. It's also become a drum circle favorite of mine! It is a rare occurrence for me to become so inspired by the work of artists that I feel it necessary to relate my feelings to others. I am not new to the Craft (however much younger I wish I were…) and have seen many ritual objects in my time. Now, many would argue that the Magick is the result of the will and not so much the tool. To which, I would answer; true… yet the tool can add it’s own intrinsic power to the individual’s will, becoming a powerful storage “container” that grows more powerful with each use.

I have the honor of possessing a Waterhawk athame, Atlantius and two Gaia Eggs, all of which I shall treasure for the rest of my life and pass down to my line. The uniqueness and power of these tools is absolutely breathtaking! The Gaia Eggs are wonderful; I call one Gaia’s Cradle because of it’s incredible healing energy. My health has improved already! My athame is now such a part of me that I couldn’t dream of being without it. What can I say about Atlantius? I have trouble putting him down…

blade was going to be longer, but somehow, this is more fitting for me. I
feel you know that. The handle is "exactly" how I saw it in my mind. I was going to try to describe, to you, what I would have liked the handle to look like, but during our conversation, something told me just to trust... (I'm thankful I did.) If I had tried to describe it, I probably would have messed it up or confused
the flow of energy... Even the stones, you chose, were perfect!
    Something tells me to surround it in something red. Spirit will show me...

Hi Don,
I received my athame last night and I haven't been able to put it down since. I love it, I keep putting it down on my alter and going back 5 minutes later to look at it or play with it again. I can't believe what perfect timing this was, I'm dedicating to a coven next full moon and I didn't know what I was going to do w/out an athame, nothing I found was right until I found this one.
Actually I think you know the coven I'm dedicating to, the Circle of the Winged Lion? Do you remember Robin and Mike? They came to your shop a while back to buy their athames. They told me to say hello.
Anyway, I love it and I can' wait to concecrate it and put it to use.
